Watson's Art Auction Gallery is architecturally designed in the style of the prestigious boutique galleries on Queen Street in Woollahra, Sydney.

The gallery has two permanent display rooms.  During openings and art shows a third gallery is also used, as are the landscaped gardens.  The intimate gallery setting is the perfect backdrop for displaying the very best of New Zealand’s artwork.

Collectors are invited to view and add to their collection in an exclusive and private setting.

Viewings are by appointment only.

Gallery Rental

One of the real strengths of Watson’s Specialist Auctioneers and Valuers over the past few years has been our commitment to Fine Art Auctions.  In 2011 we aim to continue building on this success.  We continue to attract the very best of New Zealand contemporary art scene and from our showrooms in Christchurch achieve record prices for our clients.

2010 saw a considerable investment in our online art capabilities taking our reach far beyond the City of Christchurch or even New Zealand with collectors now available to view and bid from anywhere in the world.  We plan to increase this investment in 2011.
