Our experts have unique access to the locations of great works that have sat in private collections from many of New Zealand’s most prominent families. From time to time these families may choose to privately sell one or all of the works from their art collection.

Our experts also have exceptional relationships with many of New Zealand’s, Australia’s and now the USA’s art dealers.

Watson's currently have many clients that wish to collect the very best works before they are offered at auction. They will approach our management services and ask to be notified when a specific artist or even a specific artwork becomes available. We are able to put the collectors and the sellers together either discreetly or at public auction.
