Jacqueline Ballard

Jacqueline Ballard has had a long career in the art / antiques market both in New Zealand & overseas. Jacqueline's parents owned an Antique shop & at just 17 she was sent on a buying trip to Britain , this really was the beginning of her career developing a lifelong passion. After completing her Art History Major (BA) at Canterbury University Jacqueline managed the well renowned antique shop " Village Bygones" & in-between marriage & raising her family also assisting at Holliday & Sons. In 2000 - 2008 Jacqueline was based at McCrosties Auctions setting up auctions , cataloguing & valuing. Joining the Watsons team in 2008 with her broad knowledge of the art / antiques market together with Jacqueline's abundant enthusiasm she has gained the respect of art lovers and collectors worldwide. She truly has captured the essence of the industry with having a particular interest in silver , jewellery , furniture & 1920's New Zealand art.
